About Tragent

Built from the trade.
For the business around it.

Great tradespeople should be able to focus on their work without their business going quiet every time they put their phone down. That is why Tragent exists.

Where it started

The trade is only
half the job.

Tragent was started by a working electrician. The idea didn’t come from a boardroom or a market report. It came from the familiar pattern of a full day on site, followed by enquiries, quotes and follow-ups waiting at home.

For most tradespeople, the work itself is only part of it. The other part is running the business around it—and that part doesn’t stop when the tools go down.

Tragent is built by someone who knows both sides, and it is designed to fit the way trade businesses actually run.

The reality

Busy doing the work
shouldn’t mean losing it.

Running a modern trade business means being two people at once: the one doing the job, and the one expected to answer straight away.

Customers expect speed

People want a reply within hours, not days. Often the first trade to respond properly is the one that gets to quote.

The inbox can’t come first

When you’re on the tools, driving between jobs or sorting a problem on site, checking email isn’t realistic—and it shouldn’t be.

Admin becomes a second shift

Replies, quotes and chasing get pushed into evenings and weekends, after a physical day’s work and time that should belong to family.

The result is that good tradespeople lose work simply because they were busy doing the work they already had.

What we believe

It shouldn’t be a choice
between work and life.

Tradespeople shouldn’t have to choose between doing a good job, growing their business and having a life outside work. Everything we build starts from that.

  1. 01

Built for trades from day one

Tragent is designed around trades and small service businesses, not generic software adapted afterwards. It asks the questions a tradesperson would ask.

  2. 02

    Consistent, never robotic

Every customer should get a prompt, professional response—one that sounds like a real business, not an automated system.

  3. 03

    You stay in charge

Tragent isn’t there to replace you or run your business. It removes the repetitive admin so you have more control over your time, not less.

  4. 04

    Practical over clever

You shouldn’t need to understand AI to benefit from it. Tragent is set up in minutes and then gets on with the job.

Who it’s for

Sole traders and
small trade teams.

Tragent is built first for the people who feel this problem most: sole traders and small businesses where the person doing the work is also the person answering the enquiries.

Electricians, plumbers, builders, roofers, heating engineers, landscapers—anyone whose best work happens away from a desk. As those businesses grow, Tragent is designed to grow with them.

Where we’re going

The admin layer behind
every small trade business.

Replying to emails faster is only the start. The aim is a business that keeps moving while the person running it is busy working.

Over time, Tragent will quietly take on more of the repetitive work that fills an owner’s evenings—so enquiries are handled, customers are followed up and opportunities don’t disappear just because someone is on site.

An extra pair of hands

Keep your business moving.
Even when you can’t.
